I’m not going to take as long as I did before with the music. I feel like there’s a great amount of responsibility to listeners to really be more consistent. I feel like I’ve taken time enough to understand life so that I can collect enough experiences so that I can write the songs or sing the songs that come my way in terms of covers or collaborations.
I don’t want to say anything but just get ready for the next one. It’s going to hit you quicker than you think. I think that my track record of “When will he be back?” will go away. I’m very charged up about music. I’m very charged about being creative.
I think in this political climate right now, artists are needed more than ever before. People need something to lean on to get them through their day as they see how crazy everything is.
