No Limit Records head Master P has shared his thoughts on late music icon Prince’s legacy following his shocking death last week.
The Louisiana native acknowledged the amount of respect Prince did not receive prior to his passing.
“Prince the man,” Master P said in an interview. “Definitely sad to see him go so soon – I’m just gonna keep it 100. A lot of people called Prince ‘weirdo’ and all that other stuff even though he’s one of the greatest entertainers in the world but it took him to die for everybody to talk about how great he is. I think there’s a lot of genuine stuff but I also think people, once somebody’s gone, everybody – it’s like Michael Jackson. Everybody talks about how great he was. I know Prince is probably up there playing music with Michael Jackson. But a lot of people don’t keep it real and say the truth.” (TMZ)
