When I heard about [snowboarder Henrik Harlaut] making the shout-out, “Wu-Tang is for the children,” I was like “Wow!” It showed me that somebody that’s in that particular sport is listening to Wu-Tang.

So I was like, “Wow.” I was very moved by that. I’m like, “This is what you’re listening to when you’re doing what you’re doing? I would have never thought that.”

I thought that was dope and cool to get into their mind frame of what they do and how they do it and how they prepare for it. It’s crazy so see one way they prepare to do what they do is by listening to our music.

It’s cool because I’m getting to look into their world and to be able to perform at halftime, it’s inspiring and it’s a great connection.

This is what I’ve been blessed to do for the last 20 years. To still be relevant at this point and time, it’s a blessing. Our goal was that if they’re raising the flag and honoring us, it’s a blessing to be a part of their community and social following of what they’re doing.

It just furthermore adds on to the Wu-Tang Forever statement. We’re here to live that out to the fullest.

Wherever that may take me, I’m ready. I was only on “Da Mystery of Chessboxin'” on Enter the Wu-Tang but that one song took me around the world. So whenever that flag is being raised, I’m honored to be there.

During my performance, I’m going to be performing the classics. I’m gonna do what I’ve been doing. I don’t know if you’ve seen an individual performance of mine but whether it’s individual or I’m with my friends, I’m gonna be there to do what I do and that’s go through classic hits of what Wu-Tang has done for the last 20 years and just give you a Masta Killa performance which probably a lot of people haven’t witnessed.

So I’m there to do what I’m there to do.
