Hollywood actor Martin Lawrence has paid homage to his late friend Thomas Ford. The TV veteran went to social media to remember his former “Martin” co-star.

Martin jumped on Instagram last night (October 12) to remember Ford’s life.

Fellow “Martin” co-stars Tisha Campbell-Martin, Carl Payne and Tichina Arnold spoke out on Ford.

Ford’s family announced his passing Wednesday (October 12) following a short stint on life support.

“It is with great sadness that we announce the untimely passing of our beloved Son, father, brother, husband, and friend Tommy Mykhal Ford. On behalf of the family we would like to thank everyone for their love, support and prayers. Funeral arrangements will be forthcoming. Please respect the privacy of the Ford family during our time of grief.”

A few hours prior, reports surfaced about Ford being hospitalized since last Sunday.

He is currently on life support and is not expected to make it through the day. Ford’s wife, Gina, says the family is still praying for him. Tommy starred in all 5 seasons of “Martin” as Martin Lawrence’s level-headed best friend, who often played straight man to Martin’s crazy antics. (TMZ)
