Nearly two years after the tragic passing of R&B singer Usher’s stepson Kile Glover, the man responsible has been found guilty on multiple accounts.
According to reports, 40-year-old Georgia resident Jeffrey Hubbard received his conviction Thursday (February 20).
A man has been convicted of homicide by vessel in a Georgia jet ski crash that killed R&B singer Usher’s 11-year-old stepson. A Hall County jury on Thursday also found Jeffrey Hubbard guilty of serious injury by vessel, reckless operation of a vessel, unlawful operation of a personal watercraft and a boat traffic violation. Glover is Usher’s ex-wife’s son from a separate marriage with a high-profile industry executive.
The boy’s mother, Tameka Raymond, was married to Usher for two years. They have two children together from their marriage. They divorced in 2009. Kile’s father is Ryan Glover, the president of Bounce TV, a fledgling television network targeting African-American audiences. He is also a former executive with Turner Broadcasting, the parent company of CNN. (CNN)
When approached yesterday by paparazzi about the conviction, Usher stayed mum.
Usher was in no mood to celebrate the conviction of the man who killed his stepson when he arrived Thursday at LAX. Usher — who has been in a nasty, ongoing legal fight with Tameka — had words of sympathy for her and Kile’s biological dad. (TMZ)
