Details of the rap star’s near no-show bubbled online Tuesday (November 4).

Last night (Nov. 3) Mase was scheduled to perform at London’s indigo at The O2 arena on a bill that placed him alongside fellow New Yorkers Foxy Brown and Fat Joe. Fat Joe was denied entry into England, and Foxy Brown pulled out of the show, leaving Ma$e to perform alone. According to an initial report from factmag.com, fewer than 50 people showed up to attend the show in the 2700+ person capacity arena. (XXL Mag)

Check out this updated report on how many fans showed up…

Despite intial reports, new estimates claim over 200 fans showed up.

Correction, November 4: We originally reported that fewer than 50 people showed up to the gig, but a couple of attendees have informed us that the number was more like 200-250 by the time Ma$e came on stage. Hardly a full house then, but not quite the catastrophe the initial photos had led us to believe. (Fact Mag)

Recently, Ma$e discussed when his next solo album would drop.

“My next single will probably be me, Rick Ross and Kanye. It’s called ‘Billboard.’ So, we got something really serious coming,” Ma$e said in an interview. “We just got done shooting a video in LA, in the desert, so, it’s gonna be really sexy. The next one [after ‘Billboard’]. … We got an album in the works, it should be out the first week in October. It’s gonna have Ye, Ross, Puff, Dipset, it’s gonna be really special. … This is what I would have put out after [1997’s] Harlem World. It’s gonna be really special.” (Hot 107.9)

Over the summer, reality television star Malaysia Pargo starred in Ma$e’s “Nothing” music video.

Pargo speeds down the highway in a luxury convertible while Mase brings back his infamous Harlem boy moves with Bellinger. In another scene Pargo dons an embellished body suit, heels and an oversized jacket paired with sunglasses. She makes another wardrobe change as she steps out of a boutique. The video continues its light and fun theme as Mase parties with a group of girls in a pool. Bellinger sings, “It’s unbelievable how your body is calling for me…Probably ’cause you got your own money.” (Enstarz)

  1. Idk why but picturing this made my day. That’s what your punk ass gets, for trying to play both sides of the fence.

  2. Ma$e you fucked up man. Got scared and bounced now you want to come back but this thing we call hip hop is a forward moving machine. The only genre that doesn’t respect it’s elders. True Hip Hop heads respect the architects but the masses never do.
Anyway Ma$e mentor some of these kids thats the best you gonna get.

  3. Made tried this how many times welcome back lasted how long on the charts then the g unit band wagon now he’s back with puff
