1. Game On

It’s not quite football season yet but the expectations for the new Madden 15 are getting pretty intense. We finally know Seattle Seahawks’ Richard Sherman is going to make the cover but could some last-minute changes alter things around? IGN is on it:

The cover art for Madden NFL 15 appears to have been outed by retailers.

Both Amazon and GameStop showed cover art earlier today displaying Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman. GameStop has since pulled cover picture, but Amazon still shows the cover.

Sherman’s Seahawks defeated the Denver Broncos in last year’s Super Bowl, 43–8. He is known for his outspoken style, having garnered some controversy for his comments towards rival Michael Crabtree. (IGN)

With the game expected to drop in late August, could this be the best Madden title ever? The graphics look intense! #SOHHWhatchaThink?

2. No. 1 Bawwwse

You have to give it up to Rick Ross. Instead of hiding or not addressing his now-infamous no-show at a Detroit concert last weekend, he’s coming to the forefront and speaking on it. There’s been rumors of goons, rap rivals and crazier stuff floating around and the Bawse is clearing the air. Revolt TV has this covered:

Rick Ross is clearing the air. An aggressive Ricky Rozay took to the airwaves in Miami to let his many fans know the Bawse never runs.

According to reports, Rick Ross was prevented from performing at HOT 107.5′s Summer Jamz 17 concert in Detroit over the weekend, when he was allegedly met by hundreds of protesters, resulting in a failed performance.

While the radio station’s program director suggested Ross was “scared for his life,” the MMG boss says he never even set foot on the premises as earlier reported on REVOLT Live.

Ross also had some choice words for any up-and-coming rapper looking to “shoot his way in the game.” (Revolt TV)

Will this all blow over? Does Rick Ross over the city of Detroit a free show because of what went down? Is there any chance Ross is ever going back to Detroit? #SOHHWhatchaThink?

3. Wu Wants You

Are you still a fan of the Wu-Tang Clan? They are one of hip-hop’s biggest groups and want to make sure everyone in the social media world knows. Simply put, the Wu wants YOU. Clash Music is on it:

‘Cash Rules Everything Around Me’ – or so they say.

‘They’ of course, being Wu-Tang Clan. The legendary hip hop group have seemingly kicked off a search for an intern – so long as they work unpaid.

The following images appeared on Craiglist (via Noisey) and advertise for an intern to look after the Wu social networks.

Are they legitimate? We’re not sure. A huge furore surrounded a similar search by Beyonce earlier this year, but those turned out to be an extremely effective April Fool’s. (Clash Music)

Is there any chance this is legit? Would the Wu-Tang really put their social media handles into the hands of an intern? #SOHHWhatchaThink?

That about wraps it up for today. This is SOHH On The Spot giving you the morning scoop from your favorite gossip sites.
