Young Money president Mack Maine has teased fans about new music projects coming from protégé Lil Wayne this weekend.
Maine hinted at Wayne’s No Ceilings 2 mixtape’s existence on Twitter Saturday (October 31).
Wayne’s original No Ceilings project came out exactly six years ago.
Footage of Weezy F. Baby rapping over Young Money stud Drake‘s “Back 2 Back” song surfaced a few days ago.
Lil Wayne just released his new Free Weezy Album over the summer, but it looks like he’s already back in the studio working on some new music. It’s unclear if Weezy has another project lined up for the rest of the year (Carter V anyone?), but new footage shows that he has a remix of Drake’s “Back to Back” on the way. The video was uploaded to Snapchat by Young Money artist, Stephanie Acevedo, and then ripped to YouTube. (Complex)
