Pittsburgh rapper Mac Miller and overnight girlfriend Ariana Grande have social media blowing up. The unexpected couple sparked attention after locking lips last weekend in California.
Pictures have surfaced of Miller and Grande making out at a Cali restaurant.
The couple hit up Katsu-Ya in Encino Sunday night and couldn’t keep their hands off of each other — kissing and giggling through the meal. Witnesses tell us at one point Ariana was even lying on his lap. Sources close to them tell us they are dating, even though Mac’s downplayed their relationship in interviews … referring to Ariana as just a “homey.” (TMZ)

Miller is currently working on his upcoming The Divine Feminine album.
He’s also shared the first single from the record, “Dang!,” which features Anderson .Paak. It premiered today on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show. Speaking with Lowe, Mac revealed that The Divine Feminine has contributions from Kendrick Lamar, Cee-Lo, and Robert Glasper. (Mac’s song with Kendrick will be their second collaboration, following the 2012 Macadelic track “Fight the Feeling.”) (Pitchfork)
Last September, Miller’s GO:OD AM made a Top 5 debut on the sales chart.
Drake & Future’s collaborative mixtape, What a Time to Be Alive (YMCMB/Republic/Epic), has topped the HITS Album Sales Chart with 340k and the Sales Plus Streaming (SPS) Chart with 379k. Meanwhile, Lana Del Rey’s highly anticipated Honeymoon (Interscope) debuted at #2 with 111k in sales and 121k at SPS. Warner Bros.’ Mac Miller follows at #3 with 78k for GO:OD AM and Columbia’s David Gilmour debuts at #4 with 68k for Rattle That Lock, while WMG’s Shinedown rounds out the Top 5 with 61k for Threat to Survival.
