[Just a day away from launching the first quarterly “Skillosophy” art hip-hop event in Bushwick, Brooklyn tomorrow (March 11), “Lyricist Lounge” co-founder Danny Castro speaks to SOHH about putting together a line-up consisting of artistic acts like muMs, Supernatural, Sole Rebel, D-Cross and more.]

We always take pride in having the best talent we can get for our events or concerts and showcases. This is the same as well and we definitely took a lot of time to look into the different options that we had.

Being that this is the launch event, we wanted to make sure we had the best of the best and we also wanted to make sure whoever we chose was very strong on both sides of the talent as far as performing and visual art.

We were very picky on who we chose and we wanted to make sure we got the top quality of artists we could find for this particular event.

We’re also very open to finding more talent because this world is huge so we know there is tons and tons of incredible talent and artists and we would like them to be a part of the movement moving forward.
