This week, Lupe’s fellow Chi-Town native Jeremih was officially been released from a hospital and is on the road to recovery following a battle with COVID-19. As reports reveal he’s healing up at home, Jeremih has broken his silence and revealed his status.

Jeremih tells TMZ, “First and foremost, I would like to thank God and the incredible team of doctors and nurses at Northwestern Memorial Hospital for saving my life. I will be forever grateful.” The R&B singer goes on … “I would also like to thank my family and friends for all their prayers and well wishes. I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. Earlier in the week, Chicago’s Chance The Rapper took to his social media with some fantastic breaking news. He revealed on Twitter Jeremih would be coming out of the hospital Friday and said he’s almost all better.
