Grammy-winning rapper Lupe Fiasco isn’t here for Tomi Lahren – notably her lack of fact-checking. The hip-hop veteran has lit up the conservative news personality after quoting 90’s rap artist Vanilla Ice.
This past weekend, Fiasco checked Lahren for trying to use an “Ice Ice Baby” verse to celebrate Immigration and Customs Enforcement doing a nationwide invasion.
On Ice’s legendary record, he makes direct reference to avoiding a run-in with law enforcement.
Jumped in my car slammed on the gasBumper to bumper the avenue’s packed/I’m trying to get away before the jackers jack/Police on the scene you know what I mean/They passed me up confronted all the dope fiends/If there was a problem yo I’ll solve it/Check out the hook while my DJ revolves it (Ice Ice Baby)
A few days ago, President Donald Trump announced federal raids would go down over the weekend.
The president said the raids would start Sunday, leading many to worry that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents would follow their usual procedure of conducting predawn raids to round up immigrants. But as the hours passed Sunday, immigration attorneys and advocates around the country said they had not heard any reports of unusual ICE activity. The president said the raids will primarily target immigrants with criminal convictions or those previously ordered deported. (USA Today)
Back in March, Lahren had unloaded on West Coast rapper Game and questioned why he received a pass for trolling her.
The same week, Game called out Instagram for deleting his explosive anti-Lahren post.
