Produced by Yamaica, Rico Beats and 808Melo, the continues the memory of Pop Smoke with another expression of the distinct vocal styling that captivated fans during his career that was cut short. The choice phoned in feature from Rowdy Rebel provides a refrain from the hard-hitting lines from Pop Smoke on the arresting beat. β€œMake It Rain” is set to be available on a posthumous LP announced back in May. Originally set to release June 12, the drop of the album has now been postponed to July 3 out of respect for the current protests against racial inequality and police brutality. Steven Victor, who worked closely with the rapper, has also helped launch the Victor Victor Foundation, a non-profit which will work to support Black youth through voter registration efforts and aid programs focused on mentorship and emotional support. Steven went online this week to deliver the crushing news that Pop Smoke’s album will be delayed. Victor detailed how much of a major impact Smoke’s music has had on the world.

Victor ultimately noted the global Black Lives Matter movement as a key reason for pushing the project back. While it won’t drop for weeks, Steven did promise to put out new Pop Smoke music this week.
