New York rapper Pop Smoke will not be forgotten. After "Make It Rain" was posthumously released last night with a feature from Rowdy Rebel, social media has erupted in support of the slain rising star.

Originally set to release June 12, the drop of the album has now been postponed to July 3 out of respect for the current protests against racial inequality and police brutality. Pop Smoke’s long-awaited posthumous album isn’t coming out this week. Universal Music Group executive Steven Victor has updated fans on the project’s delay. Steven went online this week to deliver the crushing news that Pop Smoke’s album will be delayed. Victor detailed how much of a major impact Smoke’s music has had on the world.
