New York rapper Lloyd Banks is in a Prodigy state of mind. The hip-hop veteran has paid some respect to the memory of his former G-Unit group member.

The hip-hop stud went to Instagram Thursday (September 21) to remember Capital P’s classic H.N.I.C. album.

A few days ago, Brooklyn rapper Fabolous filled in for the late hip-hop artist during a VH1 Hip Hop Honors performance.

Last week, rap veteran Nas shared a vintage Mobb Deep pic.

In mid-August, rap star Rick Ross remembered Prodigy’s life during a Billboard Hot 100 Festival performance.

Rozay didn’t address the crowd much, but he knew how to conduct a somber moment. Towards the end of the hour-long set, he tipped his hat to Prodigy and let his DJ blast a little bit of Mobb Deep’s “Shook Ones, Pt. II.” Right after, he shouted out Linkin Park’s recently deceased vocalist Chester Bennington while “Numb” blared over the speakers. (Billboard)
