I would say 50 [Cent]. He’s everyone’s motivation. You got to think about it, this man did $100 million for drawers man! For underwear! How could you not be motivated from that? How could you want to sleep after that?
So to me, that motivates me. I know I’m a go-getter. I know for a fact that [Lloyd] Banks is a go-getter, I know [Young] Buck is a go-getter, I know [Tony] Yayo is a go-getter. But Fif motivates you to go and get it like that. For real, I know that’s what it does for me. -Kidd Kidd
It’s hard to be a follower, but it’s even harder to be a good leader. You know at some point you have to tip your hat to that.
I’ve said this before, I didn’t even really have solo artist aspirations until I met 50 Cent because growing up where we come from, we do everything together because we ain’t guaranteed that we’re going to see each other.
So we if go to a party, we go together. If we go to eat, we go together. So when I came into the game, my introduction, I was really thinking about the impact of whatever I could to illuminate the crew.
I wanted to just shine as a crew collectively. So for him to guide me into thinking and believing that I could even be a solo artist is the reason why he’s in the top seat. -Lloyd Banks
much as i luv 50 but every interview with the whole crew is VERY uncomfortable to watch….that Angie Martinez interview i felt just sad. he always reminds them especially Yayo of all the things hes done for them
lol would it be better to remind them of the shit he aint done for them ? if u want to hear an interveiw like that have beanie and jay go interveiw with angie lol
Cmon you know Its not that at all. Have you heard one of their full interviews since the reunion? Every question damn near he uses Yayo mostly as an example. Not like he handed them everything. Imagine someone helped you buy a house and you done paid them back but everytime you’re out with friends they remind you of it lol. Its cringe worthy those interviews, my opinion!
imagine u helped someone and they called u a fucked up dude. And he did hand yayo shit. do u really think yayo goes platinum without 50 keepin that free yayo movement poppin? shit everybody and they momma knew who yayo was before they even heard him rap fuckin with fif. gave slim a cool million dollars and a house when he came home .. And gave him hit records for his album helped push the album to platinum and some more shit…. I see what u saying he do bring that shit up alot but i think he been burned by niggaz (game buck yayo) and still feels a way about it. but end of the day they have moved on they all getting back to the money … Plus u wanna be 100 he is always asked about that shit he dont just bring it up. he just never been a dude who ducked questions in an interveiw. He like that player on a nba or nfl team that the gm hates standing in front of the camera cause he always gonna say what he think or whats real instead of giving the politically correct answer
no way. ive never heard banks or yayo complain or diss him about money. i understand him wanting people to know hes not as bad as people make him out to me. i get that totally. he doesnt duck questions and he doesnt fully answer them. theyll ask him something about another aritst or a general question about the industry and hell go into talking about how the unit made more money than they should have or how he bailed yayo out. that is uncomfortable to watch so i can imagine how they feel as men hearing that over and over.
watch that Hot 97 interview at the beginning of the reunion, it was like a therapy session for him and Yayo and then that XXL one i think it was its crazy.
I dont even remember the question Angie asked him yesterday and he started talking about Yayo wanting to open a restaurant LOL….its crazy!!!!
But I luv 50 for soooo many other reasons tho 🙂
oh its a new interview i thought u was talkin bout an old joint .. i aint heard any new interveiws. and at one point yayo did complain about money on twitter said something about it being better to be a snake because they make more money lol.. basically saying game making big bread for being a snake while he fucked up (his fucked up aint our fucked up though he aint eating no ramen noodles for lunch) lol.. but end of the day them niggaz is family it is what it is

yea i just heard one of the new joints i dont think he be trying to play them niggaz i think thats just the dynamic of there relationship. Im a grown man and my big brother still talk to me like im lil brother. Not in a disrespectful way but to someone on the outside looking in that aint know that was my big brother they would think i was getting sonned or something. when reality is its just my big brother being my big brother lol.. i aint scared of my brother i punch that nigga in the mouth and i think i can win that fight but i would never do it or try it cause thats my big brother i respect my brother and i got a lane and he got a lane we both play it to perfection and any extra nigga who cross it gets ran over. same with gunit. niggaz can say what they want but at the end of the day them niggaz is family they rockin together

I am sure many people wouldn’t mind that kind of that treatment, but I can’t be friend with someone who is hell bent on making everyone knows he’s the reason why I am successful. G-Unit blew up fast unlike many other cliques, but Em gave 50 his big chance.
it’s for the perceptions of the people who hate and say he is a shady business man because of the buck situation he is a business man that has a label if you an artist .you have to like what’s being said he put his team on after first album so they could ride enormous wave get rich or die trying created name another rapper who ever did that instead of coming right back with there second album..
I don’t think anyone has ever believed 50 is a Baby clone. Like all business men, I am sure he has given out contracts that is more beneficial towards himself, but I don’t think he’s one to hide things. 50 is a really street guy and he keeps things real. He’s still a clown for releasing that tape of Buck, but he doesn’t try to use other artists. I would say a big reason for that is it’s impossible for any of his artists to have surpassed what he did. Guys like Diddy and Baby who are not really rappers are more likely to screw artists over. However guys like Em, 50 and Kanye don’t need to do that.
