G-Unit rapper Lloyd Banks' "Beamer, Benz or Bentley" remix with Ludacris, Jadakiss, The-Dream and Yo Gotti has been released.
The track was released on the Internet Thursday (May 13) night.
Just as the hype appeared to be dying out, the official, for real for real, remix just (finally) dropped, and features new music, Ludacris, Jadakiss, The Dream and Yo Gotti. Previous rumors hinting at a 50 Cent or Eminem appearance have (so far) proven unfounded (there have been hints that there may be more than one remix coming out, so you never know). In any event, the remix ends up sounding like a brand new creation, only vaguely reminiscent of the original, and with a fraction of the impact. Too little, too late? (Birthplace Mag)
Initial speculation suggested that 50 Cent would be on the remix.

This was later confirmed in an interview with Lloyd Banks.
“I just mixed the remix last night,” Banks said in an interview. “I was in the studio till about 4:30 or 5 in the morning, me and 50, sitting there getting it right. All I can say is that it’s gonna be crazy. It’s not gonna be what anybody expects — in more than one way.” That’s one guest spot down. Now what about Mr. Mathers? Last week, the rapper released a freestyle over Banks’ track, but the G-Unit MC was tight-lipped about Slim Shady possibly appearing on the new track. He did reveal, though, that he’ll be joined by “five or six” others rappers on the “Beamer” remix. “It’s different regions. I’m getting crazy on there,” he said. “I can say that much.” (MTV)
Last March, Banks said he would be making regional remixes to the smash hit.
“I’ve got so much love and a good response on this record that it’s actually going to have to be more than one remix because it goes by markets,” Banks told VIBE, careful not to drop names. “You got Down South, you got the West coast, you got the East coast. Different regions take different records. I thought the Mainoversion was cool, I like the Joe Budden verse. Fab is cool too and there’s so many more, but those are the ones that stick out to me. They’re playing that Joell Ortiz version a lot in NY, too. I still think mine is the tightest, but hey [laughs].” (VIBE)
