Footage of LL and Can reuniting onstage at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center has hit the Internet.

For those of you who aren’t hip hop heads … the war started in the late ’90s — after Canibus threw an underhanded jab at LL while recording their duet “4, 3, 2, 1” … the same track they performed last night during the reunion. Sources tell us LL reached out to his former foe a few weeks ago to gauge the rappers interest … and Canibus jumped at the chance to end their 17 year battle. (TMZ)

    • No they didn’t. Bis kept dissing for years. Don’t speak on what you know nothing of.

      • Listen to Big’s “What’s beef?” then get back to me. LL & Bus were battling. That’s Hip Hop. Big/Pac- Beef; TI/Jeezy – Beef; 50/Ja – Beef. LL & Bus already chopped it up over the phone in ’98. Those shots Canibus was taking was for publicity. Don’t comment on what you know nothing of.

        • So because you have your own definition of “beef”….That’s the worldwide definition now. Stop it.

          • “Cause the greatest rapper of all time died on March 9th God bless his soul rest in peace kid
It’s because of him now at least I know what beef is” – Canibus
Worldwide? Ha. Do yourself a favor and go listen to “What’s beef?”

          • Nah, I don’t need to listen to anything. Do yourself a favor and visit other places. Negro thinks his definition is suitable for everyone lmao.

          • You have the suburban white boy definition, which is inaccurate. It’s slang, you simpleton. Not Webster’s definition. Actual Hip Hop heads know what the term means. If there’s no real tension or hostility towards 1 another, it isn’t beef, it’s publicity. Rappers mention names bigger than theirs for relevance. So, your homework for the day: 1. Listen to what’s beef? 2. Youtube “LL Cool J Canibus Phone Call” 3. Just stfu

          • Man, you sound stupid. “You have the suburban white boy definition”. Never heard a White boy even use the term “beef” so why would they have their own definition. You’re an imbecile.

  1. LL pulled a sucker move cuz he got ate on his own track, pulled a bully move on an up and comer, knew he couldn’t handle canibus in a rap battle so he buried him in the business. Tried that punk shit again on the hey lover joint going at Jay and got bodied on the shai remix.
