Lil Yachty recently did a sit-down with DJ Akademiks on the “Off The Record” podcast. During the interview, he explained why he would never go on tour with Lil Baby.
In an apparent nod of respect, the “Speed Me Up” rapper explained why he would never go on tour with Lil Baby:
“M-th-rf-ck-rs going to look at me crazy, What the f-ck n-gga get off the stage. I’m not going in front of that n-gga at all. I don’t even wanna be on the same lineup ever.”
Yachty added:
“It’s not even about the hits. We are in such different lanes. If someone’s coming to see him, they are not trying hear me. We are on two different ends of the spectrum.”
Ironically, Chris Brown has chosen Lil Baby as his co-headliner for his “One Of Them Ones” tour next month, starting on July 15th in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Chris Brown Bringing Lil Baby On Tour
Unlike Lil Yachty, Chris Brown doesn’t mind going on tour with Lil Baby this summer. Brown went to Instagram a few months ago with a special announcement. In the post– was a poster featuring him and rapper Lil Baby announcing a new tour, “One Of Them Ones,” happening over the summer. This will be the first national run for Brown since the pandemic, and the newly exonerated crooner is hyped.
