Grammy-winning rapper Lil Wayne‘s publicized Georgia tour bus shooting case has taken another drastic turn with an additional charge being added.

According to reports, prosecutors have added a charge of domestic terrorism to its indictment on the shooter.

The updated indictment alleges Jimmy Winfrey, aka PeeWee Roscoe, told Lil Wayne he would “spray his bus.” Last spring, police said Winfrey fired several shots at Lil Wayne’s tour buses in Cobb County and claimed Winfrey conspired with two other rappers to carry out the shooting. (WSB-TV)

Recent reports claimed music mogul Birdman‘s financial battle with Wayne may have fueled the shooting.

Jimmy Winfrey claims in new court docs he shouldn’t be singled out for the crime, when “[Birdman’s] financial dispute with [Lil Wayne] is what ultimately led to the shooting.” So, Winfrey argues, “[Birdman] should be held liable as a party to the crime.” He’s not specifically saying Birdman ordered the hit, but essentially that’s what he’s saying. G-Unit boss 50 Cent gave his opinion on the shooting and Birdman’s alleged involvement in a recent interview.

“It just got crazier than I ever imagined it could be between the two of them,” Fif said referring to the Baby and Lil Wayne situation. “It was like father and son relationship and you see them and I look at it because I understand it. The passion you have for your son right now, you’d kiss him in the mouth, like, ‘Come here, smooch.’ But as you get bigger it starts looking like, ‘Is that still gonna be your baby?’ It’s still your baby, you still look at him like that but there’s a point you stop kissing his mouth. They didn’t have that line or anything that was there and I thought it was their relationship, they see things. I couldn’t see them actually trying to actually kill him. I don’t believe that. I don’t believe that. To be honest – I can’t believe he would actually want to kill him.” (Hot FM 104.1)

Young Money’s Nicki Minaj reacted to Birdman speaking on his stance toward Lil Wayne late last month.
