Grammy-winning rapper Lil Wayne‘s producer is reportedly ready to seek legal war against Cash Money boss Birdman over unpaid work.

According to reports, a music-maker wants $200,000 from the hip-hop mogul.

The producer — who goes by DVLP — had his people make various demands that Birdman and Cash Money cough up $200,000 for work he did on albums for Wayne and other artists.

Birdman’s response shows the new frontier in blowing off creditors. Forget a lawyer’s letter … Birdman is all about texting DVLP to hold him at bay.

Some of the texts …
— “I’m getting yu paid”
— “I’m working with yu fam”
— “You gone get tht 200k”
— “s**t GETTIN don” (TMZ)

The music mogul treated fans to a picture of himself posted next to a Lil Wayne frame this past weekend.

G-Unit boss 50 Cent gave his opinion on a Wayne tour bus shooting and Birdman’s alleged involvement in a recent interview.

“It just got crazier than I ever imagined it could be between the two of them,” Fif said referring to the Baby and Lil Wayne situation. “It was like father and son relationship and you see them and I look at it because I understand it. The passion you have for your son right now, you’d kiss him in the mouth, like, ‘Come here, smooch.’ But as you get bigger it starts looking like, ‘Is that still gonna be your baby?’ It’s still your baby, you still look at him like that but there’s a point you stop kissing his mouth. They didn’t have that line or anything that was there and I thought it was their relationship, they see things. I couldn’t see them actually trying to actually kill him. I don’t believe that. I don’t believe that. To be honest – I can’t believe he would actually want to kill him.” (Hot FM 104.1)

In his two-part interview, Birdman admitted he had no issues with Wayne earlier this summer.

“I think media makes it worst than it really is,” Birdman said after revealing he still keeps in contact with Wayne. “We don’t scream at each other, I’m a man. … That’s my son, I respect him as my son. There’s no day where he’s speaking to me in a disrespectful manner. I don’t come from that cloth and I’m not going to speak to him in that cloth. That’s why I say he’s a man. He’s 30-plus. I swear on my kids – I’ll give them anything they think they might want. Cars. Jewelry. Houses. … I’m not going to let him go [off Cash Money] but if he wants to go, I’m going to respect his call. If he says he wants to go, I’m not going to stand in his way.” (Power 105.1)
