Check out what Mack Maine said about Tha Carter V right here…

Although he could not pencil in an exact date, Young Money president Mack Maine recently promised an early 2015 Carter V release.

“He’s touching up the album and about to start another special project for the people. I can’t give a definitive date. I can just say first quarter for sure. We’re still in talks right now, trying to get the plans together. The industry shuts down towards the end of the year anyway. It’s coming out. Don’t get it twisted like it’s not coming out. He wants it out, the fans want it out.” (99 Jamz)

Along with apologizing for the delay, Wayne recently revealed when his album would arrive.

“I know the album was supposed to drop today, Tha Carter V album, v’s up, but we had to push the album back due to a problem,” Wayne said in the video clip. “I’ve just been skating too god d*mn much. I’ve been skating too much and I forgot about the motherf*cking Carter. All I do is skate every motherf*cking day – honestly, I’ve been working hard every motherf*cking day on this album and this album means everything to me and I know the real fans, it means a whole lot to them too. So I kinda refuse to cheat them and give them anything and anything rushed.” (Carter 5 PSA)

Reports of Weezy F. Baby’s latest solo offering missing a mid-fall release date landed online in October.

Originally slated to drop tomorrow (Oct. 28), Lil Wayne’s highly anticipated Tha Carter V has unfortunately been pushed back. The president of Young Money revealed to KarenCivil.com that they are currently working on a new release date for the project. (Karen Civil)

  1. free music is good for the consumer , but I don’t see how this will persuade baby to hurry up and release the carter V, Wayne outta be grateful, cause It probably wouldn’t have sold 900k to 1 mil first week with those lack luster singles.

  2. My nigga weezy stay working, hope is better then the s4tw2. Shit since Birdman siting on CV all he can do is make mixtapes to keep his name out there and his fans happy

  3. Wayne has never fell off creating music creatively. I believe this beef between him and Baby has been brewing since I Am Not A Human Being 2 (2013). Wayne probably took notice that he was indeed getting screwed from profits then started to not work as hard.

  4. Damn this dude needs more creative titles dude going to use the same title up to dedications #20
