Grammy-winning rapper Lil Wayne has the Internet concerned. The hip-hop veteran is reportedly receiving treatment after suffering multiple seizures this past weekend.

According to reports, Wayne’s team rushed him to a Chicago hospital Sunday (September 3) after suffering a seizure in his hotel room.

Lil Wayne was hospitalized yet again this weekend for his ongoing bout with epilepsy and the seizures that come with it, TMZ has learned, and this time it might have torpedoed Sunday night’s Vegas gig. Multiple sources tell us Wayne was hospitalized Sunday in Chicago after he was found unconscious in his hotel room at the Westin on Michigan Avenue after suffering at least one seizure. (TMZ)

Last night, a Wayne rep came forward to provide an update on his condition.

A popular nightclub issued a statement on Wayne having to cancel his show due to the seizure.

Last summer, Wayne also found himself receiving treatment for a seizure.

He was hospitalized in June 2016 after suffering what was described at the time as two minor seizures just days prior to his planned appearance at the E3 Expo in Los Angeles. And in 2013, Wayne spent time in an intensive care unit. “The reason being for the seizures is just plain stress, no rest, overworking myself. That’s just typical me though,” he said at the time.
