Lil Wayne’s Chef Files Lawsuit

Rap great Lil Wayne, who just received a diamond plaque for his hit, “Lollipop,” is now being sued for $500K by his former chef, Morghan Medlock.

In the midst of Wayne gearing up for his highly-anticipated album, Tha Carter VI, his former chef Medlock alleges the Sorry 4 The Wait artist fired her on Memorial Day weekend for leaving him over a family emergency, according to a TMZ report.

Memorial Day Mishap

Medlock tagged along with Lil Wayne and his crew on a flight to Las Vegas from Los Angeles this past Memorial Day weekend. The chef was prepared to cook the meals for the Louisianna rapper during the trip.

However, she was notified that her child had suffered a head injury and needed to be hospitalized. Medlock had taken a flight back to Los Angeles and notified Lil Wayne’s assistant about her leaving.

When Medlock tried to get back in touch with Lil Wayne, she found out she had been terminated.

Medlock is now suing Lil Wayne for wrongful termination. In California, it is a violation to fire someone to leave and care for a sick or injured child. Medlock wants at least $500K for the injustice.

Lil Wayne And Employee Troubles

The star rapper has been sued multiple times in the past over disputes, such as his former security guard pressing charges on him for pulling a gun on him in January.

Last August, Lil Wayne’s former assistant alleged he punched him in the jaw on a private jet during an argument.
