The rap superstar recently made some quick cash after selling his Miami mansion.
The 15,101-square-foot house, which features a rooftop skate park and shark lagoon, was originally introduced to market in 2015 for $18 million — almost double the sale price. More recently it was listed for $12 million, records show. Tucked behind tall hedges, the glass-and-steel spread has nine bedrooms and 10 bathrooms that include a two-story master suite accessed by a glass-enclosed elevator. (Los Angeles Times)
Additional reports claim Wayne previously bought the fancy spot in 2011 for nearly $12 million.
The final sale price was $10 million, or $662 per square foot. Ty Forkner with ONE Sotheby’s International Realty represented Wayne and the buyer, who was not identified. Wayne purchased the home in 2011 for $11.6 million. No word yet on whether the new owner is keeping the sharks. (Miami Herald)
