Young Money boss Lil Wayne knows he gets love at the record labels and streets simultaneously. The hip-hop veteran has flexed a strong hometown ode shot his way.
Weezy F. Baby jumped on Instagram last night (April 30) with a pic of an incredibly detailed piece of art made in his honor.
Last week, Wayne made headlines after publicly dissing his record label Cash Money and declaring allegiance to Roc Nation.
“C5 coming soon. F*ck Cash Money, it’s the Roc!”
A few days ago, Wayne showed his support for a fan’s anti-Cash Money t-shirt.

Recently, a clip surfaced of Wayne ditching a concert after getting a drink thrown at him.
“I don’t know if you thought I was a buster but I’m rich. So I can’t throw nothing back. But watch this. Goon squad! Come here. Goon squad! I say every goon that’s with me come here, man. You see, you see.”

Last month, Weezy F. Baby talked about joining forces with music mogul Jay Z‘s Roc Nation.
“Yeah, Jay is just a good guy man. He’s a good guy. It was nothing but a simple thing, just friend-to-friend, ‘I just want to help you.’ That’s all it was. ‘I just want to help you man. In any way I can.’ And right now he’s just going to help me in any way he can, and that’s just what it is. [Have I left Cash Money yet?] No, we haven’t done that yet. We’re still working on that situation. But like I said, Jay’s just a good guy and he wants to help me. He’s going to help me.”
