Grammy-winning rapper Lil Wayne recently took a break from his anti-Cash Money war to look out for a children’s hospital in New Orleans.

According to reports, Weezy F. Baby paid some kids an unexpected visit a few weeks ago to bring smiles and joy during the holiday season.

Weezy met one boy named Kiron who is paralyzed from the waist down following a shooting that took place on Dec. 9. “Wayne visited Children’s Hospital of New Orleans the day after Christmas while he was at home for the holidays,” a rep for Weezy told XXL. “The purpose of the visit wasn’t for any special reason or for publicity. He just had it on his heart to visit these kids in hopes to brighten up their holiday a little more.” (XXL Mag)

A picture from the outing has surfaced and shows Wayne at the New Orlean’s hospital.

Back in October, Young Money’s Drake showed his support for Wayne’s delayed LP.

Earlier the same month, Wayne likened his YMCMB woes to the Miami Heat’s Chris Bosh.

“It’s interesting. It’s interesting. It’s a perfect example of, that you aren’t bigger than the game. It’s a perfect example of that. You’re not bigger than the team and once you’re off the team, it’s not, we don’t care. Once you’re off the team, we don’t care. We’re still a team and we have to conduct ourselves as such, and we have to make the most for us. Reason being, I’m going through the same situation myself. So I know how it is. Everything I’ve done for them, they wouldn’t be them without me and, but I’m off the team so it’s, ‘screw him as long as we can, make sure we gonna screw him as much as we can, and when we can’t no more we’ll see what happens. That’s what it looks like they’re doing to Bosh” (“His & Hers”)
