Before I was on TV, I feel like I got less people questioning me as a female rapper. Now I feel like having been on TV, people have started to question me as a rapper. I’m on TV shows where I’m happy and laughing the whole time and in my music, I’m a bit more intense and a bit more hard. People are like, ‘Hold up, it’s two different people.’

It’s not that it’s two different people, it’s just two different personalities. If I’m on a comedy show, I’m not going to be on “Ridiculousness” smoking a blunt and kicking it with my homies like I would at home. There’s two different sides of me.

I think other than that, people kind of get it after they get to know me. Once people have hung out with me, it’s like, “Okay, I get it!” Until you know me or know more about my life, I think that’s the only thing holding me back.
