Young Money’s Widner “Flow” Degruy is reportedly back behind bars after police arrested him yesterday (September 25) for his connection to a murder case.
According to reports, the bust went down Friday night in Louisiana.
New Orleans police early Friday arrested Lil Wayne protégé Widner “Flow” Degruy and two others after they were indicted Thursday in the Memorial Day slayings of two brothers in New Orleans East. Degruy, a rapper who is signed to the Young Money Entertainment label, originally was booked July 1 on a pair of murder charges in the slayings of a longtime friend, Kendrick “Muddy Cup” Bishop, 22, and his 18-year-old brother, Kendred Bishop. New Orleans cops initially booked Flow in early July.
Degruy, 23, and Jonathan Evans are suspected by New Orleans police of fatally shooting brothers Kendred and Kendrick “Muddycupbuddy” Bishop around 5:45 p.m. on Memorial Day in the 4800 block of Bright Drive. Responding officers found the brothers inside a black Kia sedan on the block. (NOLA)
Details of the arrest warrant for Flow bubbled online in early June.
Kendrick and Kendred Bishop, ages 22 and 18, were found shot early May 25 inside a black Kia sedan in the 4800 block of Bright Drive in eastern New Orleans. Both died there, police said. Investigators have not released information on a motive for the shooting. NOPD said surveillance video showed Degruy, 23, and a second unidentified suspect “possibly running from the scene and making a purchase at a nearby store.” (NOLA)
Following the crime, Flow posted up a Rest In Peace message onto his Instagram page.
