Grammy-winning rapper Lil Wayne knows he has the best player in the rap game on his team. Weezy F. Baby has come forward to salute protégé Drake on his surprise Scary Hours EP release.
Wayne and Young Money president Mack Maine both took to social media Saturday (January 20) to big up Drizzy’s must-hear two-song EP.

Last night, Drake shocked fans by announcing he would drop new music sharply at 12 o’clock.
Despite getting promoted like a new mixtape, the Scary Hours EP only comes with a couple anthems.
Drake has released two new songs. “God’s Plan” and “Diplomatic Immunity” surfaced with little warning, after Drake posted on his Instagram that the songs would be available at midnight. The two songs are labeled on the service as part of a project called Scary Hours. Pitchfork has reached out to representatives for Drake for more information. The tracks follow his previously released song “Signs,” which arrived in June as part of the Louis Vuitton show at Paris Fashion Week. (Pitchfork)
This two-song EP serves as the latest follow-up to last year’s epic More Life playlist.
The songs mark Drizzy’s first new music since his More Life playlist from March 2017. “God’s Plan” has all the markings of an instant Drake hit, with its playful beat and sing-songy verses, while “Diplomatic Immunity” has a more orchestral feel, with strings and a piano line. (Billboard)
