Grammy-winning rapper Lil Wayne appeared to go a little further than being politically correct when asked if his issues with Rich Gang’s Young Thug would ever be resolved.

Instead of directly answering the question, Wayne responded by praising his daughter, Reginae.

“Uh, my daughter is a beautiful daughter and I love everything about her,” Wayne told a paparazzo. (TMZ)

According to reports, fans booed Young Thug during a concert last month in support of Lil Wayne.

While on stage in at the Southern University in Baton Rouge, Thugger was met with boos and “Hollygrove” chants from the crowd. Pointing to a few hecklers, the rapper attempted to take it all in stride, replying “I still love you.” But the booing did not dissolve after his statement. (VIBE)

After revealing he could possibly end up on Thug’s Barter 6 project, rap heavyweight T.I. offered his take on the rapper’s issues with Lil Wayne.

“I believe we got a record on there,” Tip told DJ Whoo Kid referring to Young Thug’s new album. “I asked Thugger myself, man, I said ‘Hey, hey, bro. Whatcha doing? What’s going on [with the Lil Wayne beef?]’ You know? And he basically responded, ‘Man, everybody’s making it a whole lot more. I’m doing it to pay homage. That’s my favorite rapper.’ That’s what he told me. I really don’t know [about what he told you.] I’m telling you what was said, I said. I’ll be sitting around watching in amazement like everybody else.” (“Just Whookid”)
