Grammy-winning rapper Lil Wayne had a tantrum last night (March 12) during a performance at Florida's Nova Southeastern University and it was all caught on tape.
Footage of Wayne’s rift landed online early Friday (March 13).
The gig was at Nova Southeastern University. Wayne performed 7 songs before the DJ accidentally played the original O.T. Genasis track. Wayne has a remix of that song on his mixtape in which he disses Cash Money. Apparently Wayne was expecting a clean track for his version and when he heard O.T. Genasis he went into a rage, walking off the stage and pissing off the crowd. (TMZ)

According to law enforcement, Wayne was the victim of swatting.
“Unfortunately this appears to be a ‘swatting’ call,” the Miami Beach Police tweeted. “No victims/no injuries/no subject [present].” “Swatting” refers to a prank in which someone convinces authorities to dispatch an emergency response for a fake incident. Many celebrities have been victims of swatting, including Justin Timberlake, Tom Cruise and Miley Cyrus. (ABC News)
Reports of the shooting happening at Weezy’s home bubbled online a couple days ago.
Police are investigating a shooting reported at rapper Lil Wayne’s house in Miami Beach, Wednesday afternoon. Fox affiliate WSVN reported that it was unclear if anyone was injured. Police are on the scene and surrounding the home. (Fox CT)
