Grammy-winning rapper Lil Wayne‘s not here for the fakeness. The hip-hop veteran has singled out a couple venues over false promotion and disassociated himself from multiple headliner billings.

Wayne relied on Instagram last night (April 27) to shut down a couple bogus promotional flyers.

A few days ago, Wayne showed his support for an anti-Cash Money t-shirt.

This week, a clip surfaced of Wayne ditching a concert after getting a drink thrown at him.

“I don’t know if you thought I was a buster but I’m rich. So I can’t throw nothing back. But watch this. Goon squad! Come here. Goon squad! I say every goon that’s with me come here, man. You see, you see.”

Recently, Weezy F. Baby talked about joining forces with music mogul Jay Z‘s Roc Nation.

“Yeah, Jay is just a good guy man. He’s a good guy. It was nothing but a simple thing, just friend-to-friend, ‘I just want to help you.’ That’s all it was. ‘I just want to help you man. In any way I can.’ And right now he’s just going to help me in any way he can, and that’s just what it is. [Have I left Cash Money yet?] No, we haven’t done that yet. We’re still working on that situation. But like I said, Jay’s just a good guy and he wants to help me. He’s going to help me.”
