Grammy-winning rapper Lil Wayne is coming clean on what really went down at the Rolling Loud music festival. Weezy F. Baby has issued a statement on going ghost for his Saturday night performance.
Wayne went to Twitter to explain law enforcement – not the Rolling Loud organizers – ultimately cost fans the chance to see him on-stage.
In addition to Wayne’s incident, fellow Rolling Loud headliner Kodak Black found himself in handcuffs.
Wayne’s cancellation is one in a series of unfortunate events to befall this year’s edition of Rolling Loud; on Friday night, false reports of an active shooter on the festival grounds caused a stampede and some attendees sustained minor injuries. Earlier today, rapper Kodak Black was arrestedbefore his Rolling Loud set at Hard Rock Stadium on weapons charges. (Pitchfork)
I feel ya homeboy💪😎
If Wayne knew Kodak was going to be arrested he probably would have showed up.
