Grammy-winning rapper Lil Wayne and Birdman didn’t intentionally link in Miami last night (March 11) to end their publicized falling out. New details have emerged surrounding their headline-generating interaction.
According to reports, Weezy F. Baby and Birdman accidentally bumped into one another at Miami’s LIV nightclub.
We’re told the estranged Cash Money/Young Money partners arrived separately at LIV on Sunday. 2 Chainz got on stage at one point, and Weezy hopped up with him. Birdman kept a relatively low profile. Wayne and Birdman eventually ran into each other and went in for the man hug. They’ve both said they’re cool with each other on a personal level — they also kicked it like this back in 2016 — but Wayne’s still suing Birdman for $51 million. (TMZ)
Hours prior, the Internet went nuts over Wayne and Baby hooking up.
Last night, Lil Wayne and Birdman reunited once again at LIV nightclub in Miami, Florida during #LIVonSundays. As well as Tunechi and Baby, other people in attendance that night were 2 Chainz, Mack Maine, Brian Williams Jr., and more. (Lil Wayne HQ)
Recently, Birdman promised to soon deliver Lil Wayne’s long-delayed Tha Carter V album.
“He is the best ever to me,” he said. “A lot of success comes from under his umbrella. I think it’s gonna be the biggest album of 2018, one of them. Without a doubt. It’s gonna be well worth the wait.” (Rap-Up)
In August 2017, Lil Wayne explained why he would not put out Tha Carter V in a rushed effort to satisfy fans.
“Of course you’re going to see Tha Carter V. I just don’t want to put it out the wrong way. Honestly, I can do what I want at any time. The fans deserve it to be right and that’s how it’s gonna be. I’ma make sure it’s right. I can drop whatever I want to drop. That’s why I keep dropping whatever I want to drop. But, I’m not going to give Carter V the wrong way.” (Q93)
