Philadelphia rapper Lil Uzi Vert and Rick Ross might want to throw down some big bucks on heavyweight legal muscle. A new report claims both hip-hop stars are on the hook for a June 2017 concert no-show.
According to reports, a company has gone after Uzi and Ross’ pockets for leaving fans hanging at a Pennsylvania event.
A Pennsylvania entertainment company just added Uzi as a defendant in the suit it filed against Rick. According to docs, both rappers were supposed to perform on June 10, 2017 at the minor league ballpark in PA. The company says it forked over about $200k to lock it down. As we reported … Rick bailed on the show, and the company says he showed really poor form by not canceling until 2 nights prior to the gig. According to the suit, Lil Uzi did the same. (TMZ)
A few weeks ago, Uzi dished on recently shopping with G.O.O.D. Music head Kanye West.
“He’s never thinking about himself,” Uzi said when asked what his recent experience with Kanye West was like. “It’s weird. I thought he was gonna be grabbing. He was grabbing everything for his family. He said, ‘I don’t even get dressed no more I swag out my family.’ At that moment I realized, I gotta swag out my whole family. I really didn’t want him to [pick clothes for me] so I was running away. I was running to the other side so I could get my own drip. Look what I got.” (MTV News)
In January, Lil Uzi popped a pic of himself and Ye shopping onto his Instagram page.
The epic pic also sparked a reaction from New York hip-hop artist Azealia Banks.
