Lil Uzi Vert has taken a plea deal in an assault case involving his ex-girlfriend and fellow rapper SAINt JHN. Uzi pleaded no contest in court to one count each of felony assault with a firearm and misdemeanor injury to a girlfriend.
Uzi To Get Treatment For Mental Health Issues
Back in July, Uzi’s ex, Brittany Byrd, filed a police report claiming Uzi put a gun to her stomach and then hit her. According to TMZ, Uzi allegedly jumped out of a Cadillac Escalade and confronted JHN and Byrd at a restaurant in West Hollywood, assuming the pair were having an affair.
Uzi was sentenced to three years of formal probation, one year of treatment for mental health and substance abuse, 52 weeks of domestic violence counseling, restitution, and a 10-year criminal protective order.
Lil Uzi Vert secured the plea deal after prosecutors charged him with assault with a firearm, criminal threats and domestic violence, and a misdemeanor charge of carrying a loaded firearm. The probation will significantly hamper Uzi’s movement and touring opportunities, even as the Philly-born rapper appears to be in the studio working on his long-awaited Pink Tape album.
Uzi Almost Fights Random Dude
Uzi recently almost got into a fight with a random man in the mall. A brief clip of a confrontation between Lil Uzi Vert and a fan circulated online after the man shared bits and pieces to social media. In the video, the man is recording Uzi charging angrily toward him while a masked woman holds the rapper back. “Yo bro, leave it alone, bro, just leave it alone,” someone is heard saying off-camera.

After a short hiatus since the release of the single Demon High, Lil Uzi Vert has dropped the teaser of a new song for his fans. Uzi took to Twitter with his new sound playing in the background. In the video, Uzi can be seen standing in front of the camera with a coat and hood and a heavily auto-tuned track playing in the background. Fans were hyped by the rare social media appearance, especially after he failed to drop Pink Tape during Halloween last year as promised.
