Atlanta rapper Lil Scrappy isn’t disputing facts. The hip-hop veteran has co-signed longtime pal T.I. and his claim of inventing the trap music genre.

A screenshot has surfaced of Scrappy commenting on Tip’s publicized Instagram post and saluting the bold statement.

Yesterday, T.I. went to IG and crowned himself the true trap music originator.

Coincidentally, longtime Tip pal Gucci Mane recently credited himself for inventing the trap genre.

In spring 2017, Tip said he couldn’t see himself putting out more than three studio albums before hanging up the mic.

He told The Associated Press in a recent interview that he expects to release an album revolving around “trap music” this year. He’s released nine full-length albums so far, and says he has “two or three albums left in him.” The 36-year-old added: “But it’s definitely time to transition.” (The Washington Post)
