Florida rapper Lil Pump isn’t here to waste time feuding with J. Cole. The hip-hop rookie has updated fans on where things stand with his one-time rap rival.

In a new interview, Pumper denied having any current problems with the Roc Nation star.

“I don’t know. I don’t know what’s really going on – shout-out to J. Cole. Y’all gotta ask J. Cole what’s going on, you know? We going through some sh*t, I don’t know. We good, we good. We on good terms.” (Billboard)

Last month, J. Cole urged fans not to chant “F- Lil Pump” during one of his concerts.

In late April, radio veteran Funk Flex taunted Lil Pump by celebrating Cole’s KOD first-week sales.

A few weeks ago, J addressed speculation about who he directed his “1985” subliminal lyrics toward.

“It’s really a ‘shoe fits’ situation — several people can wear that shoe,” Cole says cryptically. “Why you yelling at your show? You must feel attacked in some kind of way, must feel offended, and if you feel offended, then that means something rings true, something struck a chord. That’s cool with me. That’s all I ever want to do. … If you exclude the top three rappers in the game, the most popping rappers all are exaggerated versions of black stereotypes. Extremely tatted up. Colorful hair. Flamboyant. Brand names. It’s caricatures, and still the dominant representation of black people, on the most popular entertainment format for black people, period.” (Vulture)
