Lil Nas X responded to Saweetie admitting he was her celebrity crush during an interview with E! News. Nas’ response follows his recent backlash for his “Gays In Africa” tweet amid the passing of Uganda’s new anti-LGBTQ laws.
Following Saweetie’s celebrity crush confession and naming Lil Nas X during an E! News interview, the rapper responded with a lighthearted farewell — “Goodbye LGBT community, we had a good run.”
“He looks better than me,” Saweetie noted in the interview. Fans also tweeted their reactions to Lil Nas’ tweet. One fan pointed out that even the “Montero” artist’s haters have to admit there’s a funny side to him.
“You might hate him, but you have to admit he’s so funny,” the fan tweeted.
The tweet also follows the “Old Town Road” artist’s backlash for joking about the idea of having surgery to be transgender and later apologized for it.
