Rap rookie Lil Nas X knows there’s no denying the global coronavirus pandemic. The hip-hop star took a moment this past weekend to share his thoughts on what COVID-19 would be if it were a person.
Lil Nas X’s Coronavirus Personification
Heading into Monday, Lil Nas X went to his social media pages with the perfect comparison of the coronavirus. X envisions the virus as a high school graduate unwilling to stop bullying its peers.
“corona is that n*gga who already graduated but won’t stop coming up to the school” -Lil Nas X
Over the past few days, the White House has kept fans updated on the coronavirus pandemic. Face masks continue to be encouraged across the nation to slow its spread as scientists work on a vaccine. Over 4.6 million people have been infected by COVID-19.
Recently, X went to his social media pages to defend his image and career. Lil Nas completely gave himself the last laugh after someone overlooked his early accomplishments before putting out a full-length studio debut.
“I guess the only one hit wonder who gotta grammy nominated platinum ep containing a platinum single, an almost 5x platinum song, & a diamond single before even dropping a debut album.” -Lil Nas X’s Instagram
