Kim posted her baby shower announcement on Instagram to let everyone know she has registries at luxury spots like Tiffany & Co. and Petit Tresor — generously giving fans a chance to buy her items like a hamper for $1,385 … or a cradle for $1,648. If you’re on a budget, try the piggy bank. For $125!! Looks pretty tacky for a celeb to beg for gifts — but sources close to Kim tell us she was simply responding to fans who’ve been asking what they can get her. We’re told Kim already has everything she needs … and she just thought this was a good way to involve fans in her pregnancy. (TMZ)

The pink carpet rolled out for Lil’ Kim at her royal baby shower in New York on Saturday. Hosted by party planner David Tutera, the lavish affair was held at Broad Street Ballroom and featured light-up trees, a bee hive-shaped cake, and a dance floor. The mom-to-be, who is expecting a baby girl, was joined by her friends and family including her brother, LisaRaye, Juelz Santana, Kimbella, Sandra “Pepa” Denton, and more. Kim and her baby daddy, Mr. Papers, made a royal entrance to the sound of trumpeters, while guests came bearing gifts from Tiffany & Co., Petit Tresor, Bel Bambini, and Babies”R”Us. (Rap-Up)

Recently, Kim’s reality television star pal Jennifer Dalton revealed she had helped her through the pregnancy with tons of personal assistance.
“I’ve been helping her with everything — anything that she needs I’m there. I go with her to the doctor’s appointments, the ultrasounds,” the entertainer’s best friend of 20 years Jennifer Dalton tells Us Weekly. “If she has cravings, we go get it for her — certain things that she just wants and needs, I’ll help her go get it.” Among those cravings, Dalton says, are veggie pizza, steak, fruits, and veggies. “I have to give her all these pillows. She tucks herself in between them… She has 2 behind her head, one by her chest, one between her legs, two on her back — she’s just cuddled in between pillows. All you see is little Lil’ Kim in the fetal position with pillows everywhere. It’s very cute!” (Us Magazine)
