New York rap veteran Lil’ Kim has reportedly spoken out on her publicized legal fight against ex-boyfriend Mr. Papers over the custody of their daughter.
According to reports, Kim posted up some now-deleted social media updates on her child custody situation.
According to Papers’ publicist Tasha Hilton, there is a misconception behind the legal dispute.
“He is literally just trying to see [Royal]. He’s been trying to do it very quietly.” Kim, 41, didn’t bother showing up for their July 9 hearing—and instead, filed her own suit accusing Papers of beating her up. But Papers insisted to Hilton that things never got physical during their relationship, and he believes the suit is a ploy to further prevent him from seeing the baby. “She’s playing really dirty now with the domestic situation,” Hilton said. “There has never been any domestic violence.” (Bossip)
Papers posted up a picture of his daughter onto Instagram last month.

Last fall, Kim talked about late hip-hop mentor Notorious B.I.G. watching over her daughter.
“I think he’s very proud. I think he’s super proud because he knows that I’m a nurturer by nature,” Kim, who gave birth to daughter Royal Reign on June 9, 2014. “He’s probably helping me right now because he knows, ‘This girl is gonna need some help from above.’ So, ‘Thank you babe for helping me. I’m going to be the best mom I can be.'” (Hip Hollywood)
