West Coast rapper Lil B's I'm Gay (I'm Happy) first-week sales have been revealed showing the Based God's controversially titled LP selling under 2,000 records.
According to reports, Lil B’s latest project has sold 1,700 copies since dropping last week.
Young up-starter, Lil’ B’s, album I’m Gay (I’m Happy) dropped last week without warning and despite the amount of controversy and hooplah surrounding the Based God’s release, the project only sold a surprising 1,700 units as first week sales come to a close. (VIBE)
Following its release, Lil B also provided fans an opportunity to download the project for free.

Not only co-signed by Grammy-winning rapper Lupe Fiasco, but the Chicago emcee also reviewed his project.

They mention favorite songs or less than favorites for that matter, maybe even breaking them down and bringing finer points of production or lyrical execution to light. Lil B unexpectedly released the much talked about album with little promotion last Thursday (June 30).
A few weeks ago, the controversially titled I’m Gay LP that Lil B promised the crowd at this year’s Coachella got cover art– as well as an amended (I’m Happy) added to the album title.
