West Coast rapper Lil B‘s mythical “Based God Curse” has had such an impact on the NBA world that it’s sparked the attention of national publications.

Yesterday (June 1), Lil B acknowledged his curse being picked up by renowned publication The New York Times.

On Instagram Tuesday (May 31) night, Based God acknowledged the impact his mythical curse could have on victim Kevin Durant‘s free agency.

Earlier this week, the Bay Area rapper trolled Kevin Durant after the Golden State Warriors beat the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference Finals.
