The photo features Boosie shirtless but with multiple gold jewelry pieces on.

Lil Boosie wants his fans to know that although he’s currently locked down his name still holds strong in the Hip-Hop game. Over the weekend a photo of the MC emerged, showing the Louisiana rapper for the first time since his incarceration draped in jewelry in a cell he’s currently housed in. In the candid photo, the ‘Wipe Me Down” rapper appears in good spirits despite the numerous felony charges he’s currently facing. A shirtless Boosie is depicted with many gold chains, including one with an anchor and a gold studded bracelet. Boosie’s ice game has seen better times for the flashy rapper who displayed millions of dollars on the average day but is now facing financial battles separate from his legal issues. (RapFix)

While serving time behind bars, Boosie’s Easton Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana home is on the verge of becoming foreclosed.

Lil Boosie has been in jail since June 2010 after being formally indicted for a murder case. While he awaits his trial, East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office is planning on selling his abode after he failed to pay a writ imposed on the home. Boosie, whose real name is Torence I. Hatch, is up against Flagstar Bank in the auction of his Louisiana residence. According to a police filing, Boosie balked on meeting a $375,270.74 writ that was imposed on the plot on January 20, 2011. (Hip Hop DX)

Last March, Boosie’s mother, Connie Hatch, set up a website to help generate funds for her son.

In an effort to rally support, Boosie’s family has created a Web site, www.boosiejustice.com, as an outlet for fans to speak out against the charges as well as donate money to his family. “[Lil Boosie] and his family ask that you to please take action now,” the site states. “Let yourself be heard. If you are part of a civil rights organization we want to hear from you.” (XXL Mag)

Last June, Boosie was indicted on murder charges dating back to October 2009.

Hatch was indicted in the October 21st shooting death of Terry Boyd. Michael Louding and Adrian Pittman are also indicted on first degree charges on Boyd’s murder. East Baton Rouge Parish District Attorney Hillar Moore says all three of the alleged killers meet the criteria of first degree charges. Moore said that the death penalty is not out of the question. Hatch and girlfriend Walnita Decuir along with a former Dixon Correctional Institute guard and an inmate were also indicted on drug charges. (WAFB News)
