Chicago’s Lil Bibby and Fredo Santana have both stepped forward to speak out on President Barack Obama‘s daughter Malia Obama getting caught allegedly smoking marijuana this week.

Both Chi-town hip-hop artists went to social media to speak up for Malia and downplay the harm of smoking weed.

Buzz developed this week about Malia possibly smoking pot at this month’s Lollapalooza festival.

Malia Obama is at the center of some controversy after footage of her allegedly puffing on a joint at Lollapalooza has hit the web. In the video, the eldest daughter of President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama is seen smoking what looks to be homemade cigarette while jamming to music in the crowd. An eyewitness is claiming that she was smoking pot that day. (Celebuzz!)

This week, R&B singer Ray J addressed a rumor about hitting up Malia on her social media pages.

“Yo, this Ray J, listen, I never really, like, address the BS but I’m at the house, we all chilling and having a good time and they’re saying I DM’ed the president’s daughter. Come on, man. Why y’all trying to always bring me down? I’m positive. I’m getting married on Friday. Like, what the hell would I be doing, doing anything reckless, anything stupid, like please. Everything y’all read about me ain’t the truth.”
