West Coast rapper Lil B has cleared up where he stands in a publicized feud with NBA superstar Kevin Durant and explained what he still wants from the sports stud.

During an Massachusetts school event Friday (November 21), Based God set the record straight on KD.

“Thank you so much for bringing that out there. I do. I want to say, to answer your question: yes, I do love Kevin Durant, and I appreciate him, and I appreciate the NBA,” B said when asked about KD. “Everybody was looking at me like—I was thinking I said something wrong! But no, if he came to D.C…I would…uhhh…you know, me and Kevin—me and Kevin got a game to play. Once Kevin is off his injury from the Based God’s curse. I pray for the Thunder team, I pray for them.” (The FADER)

Based God took aim at KD last month on social media.

On Sunday, Thunder general manager Sam Presti, per The Oklahoman’s Darnell Mayberry, revealed that Durant will miss some time after fracturing his right foot. That news led to Lil B reminding everyone of the curse. (Bleacher Report)

Although he did not name-drop Durant, his Twitter remark took aim at the NBA star.

Recently, KD said social media pressure forced him to clear the air on their situation.

“A curse? I keep hearing that,” KD said in an interview when asked about his status with Lil B. “Every time I sign on to Twitter or Instagram, it’s this Lil B stuff coming up. Uh, yeah, I don’t have no problem with Lil B. I guess whatever you guys want to call this. He’s got so many fans, it’s like, it’s starting to get on my nerves. Just to get the people away from me, me and Lil B are cool.” (REVOLT TV)

Earlier this year, the “Based God” warned KD of what’s to come in the near future.

“NBA, swag baby. KD, you can’t see me. Look at Lil B, baby, I’m coming,” B says in an NBA TV promo clip which is preceeded with the words, “HE’S COMING.” (NBA TV)

In March, B touched on where his feud with Durant initially stemmed from.

Your beef with Durant dates back to 2011. How did it start? He talked about me. Before everything, I loved Kevin, but he was never a factor to me and then he talked about me. I wasn’t thinking about him. I’m still shouting out the old school legends like John Stockton. I’m still in that era. (SB Nation)
