Lecrae Dishes On The Time He Chilled W/ Ma$e: “When He Was In Atlanta, We Hung Out”

[With fans eagerly awaiting ex-Bad Boy Records' Ma$e making a strong hip-hop comeback, rap veteran Lecrae gives SOHH some insight on the one-time rapping pastor.]

You know, I don’t know [what’s up with him]. That’s kind of an interesting thing. I really have to get in his head and sit down and pick his brain.

I really don’t have an answer for that. We’ve talked only a few times. I don’t know if he’s still in Atlanta, but when he was in Atlanta we hung out, we talked and so I never got that vibe or that impression that he was throwing two fingers up to his church or what not.

I would just have to sit down and talk to him, I don’t know. That’s an interesting situation. Sometimes we all go through different changes and struggles and we’re constantly dealing with different circumstances.

It’s how we deal with them that determines the outcome of what our time on this earth looks like. I don’t know what circumstances he’s necessarily dealing with, or going through.
