Reality television star Kris Jenner is putting an end to recent chatter about her harping issues toward daughter Kim Kardashian and son-in-law Kanye West following a potential multi-million dollar wedding photos offer. #4DaFam
According to reports, Jenner showed her support for Mr. West at his overseas Cannes Lions Festival appearance this week.
Speaking at the MediaLink party at the Hotel du Cap, the matriarch-manager told us that she’d be interested in taking part in a session about her marketing work and media deals for the Kardashian family. She told us, “I went to Kanye’s session and it was wonderful. I have been talking to the organizers about taking part next year, but nothing has been finalized yet. We’ll see.” (NY Post)
According to reports, Yeezy aired out famed photographer Annie Leibovitz during his conference speech.
Annie was supposed to shoot the pic but she pulled out entirely the day before the wedding. Kanye says she claimed she was “afraid of celebrity” — a weird statement because Annie’s brand is all about celebrity. Nonetheless … the pic was taken but not perfected, and Kanye says he and Kim spent 4 days — yes, 4 DAYS — screwing with the pic because the flowers were “off color.” (TMZ)
Additional reports claimed Kanye said his wife underwent stress over the photo editing.
Kanye explained, “Let me tell you something about that kiss photo that my girl put up … this was pissing my girl off during the honeymoon, she was exhausted because we worked on the photo so much because Annie Leibovitz pulled out right before the wedding. I think that she was, like, scared of the idea of celebrity.” (Page Six)
Kim and Kanye reportedly received offers well over $10 million from publications for wedding photos.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West turned down international offers totaling up to $11 million to publish photos of their wedding — and Kim’s money-hungry momager, Kris Jenner, was unhappy with their decision, insiders say. An inside source says that offers to publish pics from the couple’s over-the-top nuptials in Florence, Italy, soared past $10 million, accounting for all global territories. But the newlyweds, or rather Kanye, took a cue from Jay Z and Beyoncé and decided to keep control of the shots. (Page Six)
