G.O.O.D. Music leader Kanye West‘s celebrity mother-in-law Kris Jenner has addressed the commotion Yeezy has created from Twitter over the past few weeks.

Appearing on talk show host Ellen DeGeneres broadcast this week, Jenner did not hold back on playfully jabbing Ye’s Twitter presence.

“You know, there have been days where there should be a no tweeting law, and I feel like I’ll ground him,” Jenner said. “Sometimes I feel like what he’s really trying to say…when he was like ‘Oh, I am $53 million in debt,’ you know, that whole thing, what he was trying to say was that’s what he’s done to spend on his clothing line over the last 15 or 20 years or whatever it’s been. But it comes out not exactly the right way, and people get it misconstrued through the media and then it’s just complicated, what can I say?” (“The Ellen DeGeneres Show”)

Recent reports claimed Kris’ daughter Kim Kardashian West had remained by Kanye’s side despite conflicting reports.

“Kim has faith in Kanye and a unique understanding of how he operates,” a West insider tells PEOPLE in this week’s issue. A source close to the production of Keeping up with the Kardashians says the reality star’s insight gives her a unique power to influence her husband. “If there is anyone that can reach Kanye now, it’s Kim,” says the source. “To Kanye, Kim is a queen.” (People)

Last week, talk show host Dr. Phil shared his thoughts on Ye’s publicized Twitter rants.

“Does it really take a professional? You can’t be that wrong that many times without working it. We’re talking about it, aren’t we? We are here talking about it. We’re talking about it, he gets up, [tweets] and here we are talking about it so it’s working. … Everybody thinks stuff sometimes. You’ll think of something really stupid, but we’re in a society now, we’re in a generation now, where everybody thinks you got to have an audience for everything. Listen, I don’t need to know that you just brushed your teeth. And I don’t need a picture of it, I don’t need a film of it, but we’re so narcissistic now, everybody’s doing selfies of themselves brushing their teeth. I don’t care. But everybody has to post it up.” (“The Late Late Show with James Corden”)

A few days prior, Kanye collaborator French Montana shared his thoughts on West’s publicized Twitter tirades.

“Actually, Kanye didn’t really know who Max B is,” French said referring to Yeezy recently planning on naming his The Life Of Pablo album Waves. “Which was kind of strange to me when me and him was talking. But, once I gave him the homework behind everything, we got it together. [Twitter runs?] You know, I come from that era. I do want to call him and tell him to do more. [laughs] You know, he’s the voice of our generation. His impact is crazy. Sometimes, you know, he’s saying what a lot of people are scared to say. I’ve been talking to Kanye like everyday. I feel like the things he’s trying to do is what every artist [wants to do].” (Hot 97)
